But as to the question at hand…Chandler sleeps with Strauss, so he brings him upstairs in the morning, Danke has been sleeping in her whelping box (Rusty made her one a few weeks ago, ~ she’s due anytime in the next 3-10 days now…) and Gunther, well, he just trots out of his bed when called, lets the youngin’s hop all over him as he’s trying to descend the outdoor ramp (another lovely dachshund accommodation built by Rusty), and then they all come in for momma’s homemade food! You can look in my FB photos for the ‘dog food madness’ album, you’ll see how i make it! Gunther and Strauss are generally burrowers, Danke likes to cuddle on top of the blankies. With it being so cold lately, the struggle comes in getting her to wear her sweater and getting it on her with my hand and arm still intact. She likes to show her angry teeth because she doesn’t like clothes at all.
