Toothless Hank and the Rawhide Chew
At age 13, Ol' Hank doesn't have many teeth left to chew a rawhide. So he'll take it to the yard and bury it for a couple days to make it nice, soft & gummable.

Hercules chowed his chewy stick down like a crocodile in less than a minute. Now he's trying to use his Dachshund mind control to get Hank to give his to him.
I though Hank was sleeping when I left my laptop on the bed. He decided it's his pillow. The only way I'm going to get it back is if he gets a good belly rub.
Hank used to be the puppy of the pack, but at 14, he's now the old dog. Here he is in his favorite spot on the back of the couch. Groggy, but alert for food.
