Tuesday Tail Wag: Franzi on the Hunt

Franzi wasn’t just an adorable Chocolate dachshund, she was a real hunter too. If she found a gopher hole, or squirrel burrow, dirt was going to fly.

We knew when she was on the hunt because she made a short, high clipped bark that could be heard all over the neighborhood. Sometimes it would go on for hours.

Watching her dig though, you knew she was in her happy place. (Once in a while, she even caught a gopher.)

Boy, did she make a mess of the yard though!
