Heavy machinery? Explosions?
Around here, it’s Franzi’s clipped bark followed by growling. Those are the unmistakable sounds of a dachshund hard at work turning a squirrel burrow into an open pit mine. At least there’s no irrigation pipe around for her to tear out.
