By |2013-04-24T09:21:26-07:00April 24, 2013|Miscellaneous, News|1 Comment

Anyone who know me, knows that I'm a big beer fan. I suppose it's only natural -- I love German dogs, why shouldn't I love German beverages? Turns out I'm not the only one. Back in the Milwaukee there's an actual brewery named 3 Dachshunds Beer Co.! I don't get to Wisconsin much, but if anyone else does, make sure to drop by there and tell me what it's like. http://www.3dachshundsbeer.com/

3 Dog Treat Recipes made with Peanut Butter. My Dachshunds enjoy these treats and will do most any thing to get at them. Peanut Butter Balls 1 tablespoon baking powder 2 cups whole wheat flour 1 ¼ cups creamy organic peanut butter ¾ cup whole milk ¼ cup mashed bananas Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Mix the whole wheat flour with the baking powder and set the dry mixture aside. Combine the creamy organic peanut butter with the mashed bananas. Add the milk and stir until the mixture resembles melted caramel. Slowly add the dry mixture ½ cup at a time. Once the flour mixture is beaten into the wet mixture, let it rest for five minutes. Use a melon baller or hand form dough balls into 1-inch balls. Pop them into the oven for 20 minutes. Allow them to cool for at least an hour before letting your pooch have his homemade snack.
